On the site that you are now standing once stood an Oak Tree. That Oak Tree bore forth acorns that were scurried away by Squirrels. Those squirrels arranged a hierarchical society with borders and boundaries and rigid moral code that they called Sketchidea. It is in loving memory of that said Oak Tree and those said squirrels that today I bring you Sketchidea, an online portfolio for the mayhem that is the art, musings, ideas, and web design of the not so mighty Mike Bunce.

This site welcomes new comers and old comers alike to join hands and delve into the immersive world of perhaps the world's least amazing personas of our day. Upon this site you may find drawings, paintings, lino prints, web sites, animations and empty crisp packets. We hope that in the very fact that you have chosen to waste five point six seconds of your life on our web server, your presence can and will be considered as your folly. A folly that one day you may recall as a moment of dignified whimsy in a web world gone mad.
Still as an acorn is to an oak tree so Sketchidea is to me, a labour of love and a fruit born of a fertile imagination. So let me consider this an acorn, and you: a Squirrel.
